Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Project Manager to lead reporting and analytics initiatives around dashboard development in Salt Lake City. The role collaborates with Manufacturing, Procurement, Test, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Program Management to deliver actionable data insights through Power BI solutions.

Responsibilities include building data models, DAX measures, and data prep processes, plus governance and performance tuning of reports to track key KPIs and support business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
• Power BI and SQL experience required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support manufacturing and operational performance.
• Create and maintain data models, including star and snowflake schemas.
• Develop DAX measures and calculations to support KPI tracking and business reporting.
• Build and maintain Power Query transformations and data preparation processes.
• Create visualizations and reporting solutions that support business decision-making.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate business needs into reporting solutions.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and maintain reporting governance standards.
• Monitor and optimize Power BI reports and data models for performance and scalability.
• Write SQL queries to support data extraction, transformation, and reporting needs.
• Monitor and report on key operational, financial, and schedule metrics.

Job Description: The Project Manager oversees reporting and analytics efforts relating to dashboard development. The Project Manager works cross functionally with Manufacturing, Procurement, Test, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Program Management, delivering actionable data insights through Power BI solutions. They ensure cost and schedule conformance on assigned projects by developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports that support the key KPI tracking.
