Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. seeks a Senior Power BI Developer with solid SQL and data warehousing background to design dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc queries. You will collaborate with business users to capture requirements and translate them into analytics solutions.

Proficiency in Power Query/Power Pivot, DAX, and Power BI Report Builder (or Paginated Reports) is required; experience with SQL Server and DataBricks is a strong asset.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, analytics, and reporting systems.
• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in relational and multi-dimensional (OLAP) data modeling.
• Proficiency in data modeling using Power Query and Power Pivot.
• Strong expertise in DAX and Power BI Report Builder and/or Paginated Reports.
• Excellent SQL skills, particularly with SQL Server or similar relational databases, including query optimization and understanding of relational and dimensional database structures.
• Experience working with DataBricks.
• Experience working in Financial domain, specifically in Fixed Income, Equity, and Derivative businesses.
• Ability to analyze user requirements, provide recommendations, and implement effective solutions.
• Self-driven with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to deliver quick resolutions.
• Experience managing full project life cycles from inception to deployment.
• Proven capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in high-pressure environments.
