Technology Technical Project Manager
Job Description:
The Technology Technical Project Manager will lead and oversee the successful delivery of technical projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring adherence to project requirements, timelines, and budgets. This role demands technical expertise, leadership skills, and proficiency in project management best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders to define project objectives and requirements.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project status, updates, and challenges to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, standards, and methodologies in project management.
- Facilitate project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and retrospectives.
- Manage project documentation, including requirements, specifications, and technical reports.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Utilize Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Oversee Azure Cloud development projects, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Lead application development projects using Python or .NET technologies.
- Support data delivery initiatives by gathering requirements from business partners and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar role.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Experience with Power BI, Azure Cloud development, and application development using Python or .NET.
- Prior experience supporting data delivery and requirements gathering.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Project).
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, team management, and communication abilities.
- PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to manage complex technical challenges and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with data analytics, cloud architecture, and modern application development frameworks.
