Job summary

TechDigital Group is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer with 12-15 years of IT experience to design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI solutions for executives and business users.

The candidate will lead data modeling, DAX optimization, ETL processes, and Azure-based data services, collaborating closely with data engineering and analytics teams to deliver actionable insights across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 12-15 years of IT experience with at least 10+ years in Power BI.
• Strong data modeling, SQL, and data warehousing knowledge.
• Proficiency in DAX and Power Query.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and other databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex Power BI reports and dashboards using DAX, Power Query, and other advanced features of Power BI.
• Build efficient data models using Power BI Desktop, create calculated columns and measures using advanced DAX functions, and optimize performance.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, including SQL Server, Excel, Share Point, Rest API's, Azure, and other enterprise databases.
• Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for BI solutions.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data presented in Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Optimize Power BI dashboards for performance and usability.
• Provide guidance and support to other team members on Power BI best practices.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI and data visualization.

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level Power BI solutions that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders and executive leadership.
• The candidate should possess strong experience in data modeling, DAX optimization, ETL processes, Azure data services, SQL development, and dashboard design while working closely with business users, architects, and data engineering teams.
