Job summary

WEG Transformers USA is seeking a Project Leader to manage orders from initial contact through delivery at the Washington, Missouri campus. You will coordinate with Production Scheduling, assist with engineering queries, and ensure contract requirements and payment collection are met.

The role requires demonstrated project management skills, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency. SAP experience and Spanish language ability are preferred in a growing, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Presents clear written, oral, and interpersonal communication.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Lives within commuting distance of Washington, Missouri; authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Serve as customer contact at order time and acknowledge orders.
• Coordinate with Production Scheduling to safeguard lead times.
• Handle inquiries related to the order, including engineering coordination.
• Ensure inspection and design review requirements per contract.
• Maintain complete order files (oral and written).
• Submit all final contract documents.
• Finalize open discussions on change orders or penalties.
• Ensure payments are collected.
• Coordinate and support customer visits and plant tours.
• Represent WEG at presentations and client dinners.
