Job summary

A certified Minority Business Enterprise is seeking a Project lead / Sourcing Specialist to oversee multiple projects and manage sourcing operations. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in Sourcing or Operations, along with financial analytical skills and strong communication abilities. The position is focused on project execution to achieve cost savings and enhance customer relationships. This is a contract role based in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Project lead / Sourcing Specialist - Oracle MRP

Position Summary

Contract role: Project lead to keep projects under budget, on time, and to identify savings for the business.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and drive execution of multiple Auxiliary Casting projects simultaneously.
• Lead the Reciprocating Sourcing team to execute projects delivering significant savings, deflation, BCC increase, and SSS decrease.
• Support development and execution of the overall strategy.
• In conjunction with Global Commodity Leader, develop alternate sources and/or risk mitigation plans for single and sole source suppliers to assure on-time fulfillment for assigned components.
• Create and share a vision, energize others, challenge status quo and drive change.
• Work in a cross‑functional matrix organization across geographically diverse regions.
• Apply strong financial and business analytical skills.
• Utilize Oracle or similar MRP system experience.
• Maintain a strong customer‑service mindset and enhance internal customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or College, OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Sourcing, Finance, Manufacturing or Operations.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sourcing, Manufacturing or Operations.
• Experience developing and implementing sourcing projects.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills.
