LanceSoft is seeking a Sourcing Specialist (Buying/Procurement) in Sugar Land, TX, with hybrid work arrangements (in-office Thursdays; Mon and Fri work-from-home). The role focuses on PO execution, supplier relations, and ERP updates to support procurement operations.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in sourcing, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to draft and manage contracts. This position offers exposure to business-wide improvements and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years procurement experience with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Place and follow-up on POs.
• Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution.

Title

Sourcing Specialist (Buying/Procurement)

Location: Sugar Land, TX, 77478

Duration: 0-12+ Months

Shift: Thursday in office: 8am-5pm / Monday & Friday: WFH

Pay: $40 - $45/ Hour

Description

• Place and follow-up on POs.
• Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution.
• Manage problems and schedule changes.
• Update ERP.
• Elaborates proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures and processes in the own field.
• Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
• Contributes to project as a team member.
• Work goals typically take 1-3 month to complete and results are seen immediately or within 1-2 months.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Sourcing.
• 5+ years of procurement experience who can step into the role with minimal supervision.
• The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a team-oriented leadership mindset, capable of taking ownership of responsibilities and driving results independently.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and vendors.
• Proven ability to draft, review, and manage contracts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Power Bi, Dashboard, and Excel.
