The U.S. Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit Providence-Product Line in Warwick, Rhode Island is recruiting a GS-0830-12 Mechanical Engineer.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited program must include calculus and core engineering science areas.
• Combination of education and experience allowed with professional registration or FE/other licensure.
• 60 credit hours in physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical engineering work for facility construction, repair, or maintenance.
• Develop project scopes and cost estimates; review designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate engineering projects through design and construction phases.
