Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or related technical field.
• Relevant experience managing fabrication/equipment projects in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Strong understanding of project management principles: scheduling, budgeting, scope/change control.
• Proven ability to establish accountabilities, maintain clear communication, and manage cross-functional teams.
• Experience with make/buy decisions, external vendor coordination, and logistics for industrial equipment.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from purchase order receipt through product delivery and startup, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and internal processes.
• Serve as the internal point of contact for customers to ensure seamless communication.
• Interpret purchase orders, establish requirements matrices, and verify specifications (material, electrical, coatings, etc.).
• Review and interpret customer specifications and manage submittals.
• Develop and monitor project schedules aligned with lead-times, fabrication capacity, and service availability.
• Lead decisions on make-versus-buy and manage externally fabricated equipment and logistics.
