Job summary

Traylor Bros., Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to manage daily operations of designated projects, coordinating staff, budgets, and schedules to meet deadlines and succeed in a dynamic heavy civil environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 20 years of supervisory experience in the industry, with at least 5 years in heavy civil construction; marine and foundation experience is preferred, and some travel/relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or 20 years of supervisory experience in the industry.
• At least 5 years of heavy civil construction experience required.
• Design, project management and supervisory experience required.
• Marine and Foundation Construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews project proposals to determine time frame, funding, staffing, and resources.
• Outlines work plans and assigns duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
• Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to stay on schedule and within budget.
• Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
• Provides technical advice and resolves problems with project staff.
