Job summary

QCS Staffing Ltd is seeking a PIM Lead for a US Virginia-based, 12-month contract on a major life sciences capital project. You will lead the information management for documents, drawings, and metadata, ensuring compliant data delivery across design through turnover.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with PIM systems, governance, audit programs, and cross-discipline coordination with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading project information, engineering data, document, or drawing management on large capital projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering and construction information lifecycles from design through procurement, construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
• Experience developing information-management plans, governance processes, audit programs, delivery metrics, and recovery actions.
• Ability to translate project information requirements into practical, controlled working processes.
• Ability to manage technical information across design, procurement, fabrication, construction and installation, C&Q, automation, HSE, and operational handover.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Project Information Management Plan, information-delivery schedule, responsibility matrix, procedures, and assurance strategy.
• Define document, drawing, asset-data, metadata, naming, numbering, revision, retention, and closeout requirements by discipline, supplier, contract package, system, and lifecycle milestone.
• Execute PIM work plans for electronic databases and hard-copy repositories, using the project's approved information management tools.
• Define document types, metadata, access requirements, workflows, reporting, and audit requirements in collaboration with platform administrators.
