Job summary

Terracon in Jackson, MS seeks an experienced Geologist/Hydrogeologist to evaluate subsurface data, oversee boring investigations, and prepare site assessment reports. The role includes supervising field teams, mentoring junior staff, and developing client proposals.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and report issues to management.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed work phases on projects of moderate scope.
• Lead and mentor junior geologists on medium projects.
• Interpret soil, bedrock and groundwater data and prepare reports.
• Develop written proposals and ensure quality control of client deliverables.
• Attend client meetings and supervise field sampling activities.
