Job summary

NSI Electrical Contractors, Inc. in Milwaukee is seeking a licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician. The role offers a starting wage of $53.00 per hour and above, plus benefits and a company vehicle.

Qualified Wisconsin licensed Journeyman and Master Electricians may also qualify for a hiring bonus of $10,000.00 per terms and conditions.

Qualifications

• Education: a high school diploma or GED; completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience.
• Computer skills: general computer skills preferred.
• Licenses and Certifications: Wisconsin Master Electrician License or Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician License; First Aid/CPR and OSHA 10‑Hour trainings are required.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots electrical systems in compliance with the NEC.
• Demonstrates ability to work without direct supervision.
• Installs conduit systems, lighting systems, and control systems.
• Installs motor feeders and makes standard motor connections.
• Cleans and maintains job site, tools, and vehicles.
• Follows workplace safety procedures.
• Participates in toolbox talks, safety audits, and related safety functions.
• Identifies, corrects, and reports any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents promptly.
• Works as a member of a cohesive team.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

• Demonstrates ability to work without direct supervision.
• Installs conduit systems, various lighting systems, and control systems.
• Installs motor feeders and makes standard motor connections.
• Cleans and maintains job site, tools, and vehicles.
• Consistently follows workplace safety procedures.
• Participates in toolbox talks, safety audits, and related safety functions.
• Immediately identifies, corrects, and/or reports any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents in a timely manner.
• Works as a member of a cohesive team.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

Licenses and Certifications

• Must possess one of the following licenses:
  • Wisconsin Master Electrician License
  • Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician License

Physical Demands

The employee will be required to lift and/or carry up to 100 lbs during the course of a work day.

Work Environment

Work is performed primarily in indoor and outdoor settings with regular exposure to cold, heat, direct sunlight, dirt, hazardous electrical/specialty systems equipment and wiring, and underground and elevated heights.
