What You’ll Do
As a key partner to the VP of Finance, you'll serve as the go-to resource for project-level financial performance—providing critical insight across budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and margin analysis. Your work will help drive better decision-making, support project managers across business units, and ensure each initiative delivers maximum value.
- Own and analyze project-level financials: forecasts, budgets, and actuals
- Monitor revenue performance and flag risk areas across active engagements
- Partner with project and operations leaders to identify cost inefficiencies and improve profitability
- Lead scope change tracking and margin impact analysis
- Participate in monthly performance reviews and quarterly planning cycles
- Prepare high-impact reporting and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders
- Provide financial modeling and decision support for complex or custom projects
Ideal Background
- 2+ years of experience in project-based finance required
- Background in a CRO, healthcare services, consulting, or other services industry is a strong plus
- Confident communicator with a collaborative mindset—you’ll work across finance, project management, and executive teams
- Tech-savvy: Excel whiz, and comfortable navigating ERP, CRM, and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
