They are at the forefront of the industry, having accumulated over 9GW of projects in a relatively short period, and are currently expanding their Project Finance Team.

The ideal candidate should have strong commercial acumen and a solid understanding or ability to quickly learn the financial nuances involved in utility-scale renewables development, EPC, and operational transactions. Proven experience in financial modeling and debt equity structuring is essential.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to communicate key project finance initiatives clearly to various stakeholders. The scope includes project development, origination, interconnection/power markets, EPC, and construction financing transactions. The company is committed to expanding renewable infrastructure and offers competitive compensation packages, including a base salary, open PTO policy, flexible work hours, 401K match, comprehensive health benefits, and transparent leadership.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate on financial modeling initiatives supporting utility-scale battery storage projects nationwide across ISOs/RTOs.
  2. Take ownership of financial models related to project off-take, bidding, debt/equity structuring, sales, and tax incentives.
  3. Partner with stakeholders to develop financial analysis and forecasting tools for corporate financing, capital markets, FP&A, and project finance assessments.
  4. Review industry trends and financial structures to optimize analytic processes and mitigate portfolio risks.
Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting Power, Renewables, Capital Markets, or Energy Infrastructure transactions.
  • Strong project finance modeling skills in Microsoft Excel and debt/equity structuring experience.
  • Experience with complex debt and equity structures, tax equity transactions, and advanced project finance deal execution is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex formulas clearly.
  • Ability to participate in advanced discussions in the renewables, transmission, and storage sectors.
  • Understanding of U.S. energy markets such as PJM, ERCOT, SPP, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, and CAISO is beneficial but not required.
