Job summary

TAR develops, owns, and operates islanded solar and storage campuses delivering firm power to AI data centers, with no utility interconnection. You will own financing execution end‑to‑end—from term sheet to close—building models and coordinating lenders, legal, and advisors.

Based on-site in New York, San Francisco, or Austin, you will structure capital, manage cross‑functional teams, and push deals through aggressive timelines to scale GW-scale infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years in investment banking, private equity, project finance, or a similar transaction‑focused finance role.
• Experience owning significant workstreams on live transactions from diligence to close.
• Strong financial modeling capability to build, audit, and stress-test project finance models.
• Proven ability to manage external advisors and drive transactions to close.
• Excellent written communication for investment memos, term sheets, and board materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead financing execution across construction and term debt, tax equity, ITC transfer, and equipment financing.
• Structure and document offtake and credit support arrangements and assess impact on debt sizing and covenants.
• Build and own the live-deal models: DSCR, tax equity, returns, sensitivities.
• Manage external counsel and advisors, track issues, and press for timely resolutions.
• Design capital structures across HoldCo, OpCo, and project SPVs with intercreditor mechanics.
• Analyze equity-linked and warrant structures alongside strategic arrangements.
• Own investor and lender materials and codify deal learnings into playbooks.
• Collaborate with development, power systems, procurement, legal, and policy teams to ground financing in reality.
