Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Financial Controller who partners with project managers to ensure effective budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance for complex projects. You will own project financial reporting, analysis, invoicing, and cash flow while ensuring SOX and internal controls compliance.

You will collaborate across departments to drive cost savings and process improvements, leveraging ERP tools and data-driven insights to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in a multinational environment preferred.
• Experience in engineering/manufacturing industries is a plus.
• CPA/CMA/CPIM or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Monitor expenditures, variances, and corrective actions.
• Prepare and analyze financial performance reports, including earned value analysis.
• Manage invoicing, revenue recognition, and cash flow for projects.
• Support project managers with data-driven financial insights.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
• Track KPIs and drive financial performance improvements.
• Assist with ERP utilization and enhancements.
