Job summary

Mizuho is seeking a Senior Project Finance professional to join Project Finance Americas in New York. The role focuses on structuring, originating and executing non-recourse project finance transactions across Natural Resources and Power & Infrastructure, working with Investment Banking and the broader Mizuho platform.

You will develop relationships with developers, market opportunities, prepare proposals and credit applications, and coordinate with global teams.

Qualifications

• MBA, MS or LLM degree with a strong quantitative background, or other relevant work experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in Project Finance
• 1 year of credit experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Advanced skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Structure, originate and execute non-recourse project finance transactions.
• Develop relationships with top-tier developers in natural resources and infrastructure.
• Support marketing and origination for new business.
• Coordinate with Capital Markets and internal partners.
• Collaborate with Global Project Finance teams.
