Job summary

BBVA in New York is seeking a Project Finance Associate to join the New York team in a hybrid work model. You will assist in the origination, structuring, and execution of project finance deals across infrastructure and energy sectors, while preparing market materials and client presentations.

The role requires 4+ years in corporate or investment banking related to project finance, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and English fluency. Occasional travel and collaboration with Madrid are possible.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 4+ years of corporate/investment banking or project finance experience.
• Fluent in English; Spanish a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in financial statement analysis and modeling.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; Bloomberg familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in origination, structuring, and execution of project finance deals.
• Prepare market materials and client pitches.
• Develop financial models and perform due diligence.
• Support loan closing processes and reporting.
