Job summary

Diamond Peak Recruiting partners with a nationally recognized mechanical contractor to identify an experienced Project Executive to lead large-scale mechanical construction projects across the United States.

You will oversee HVAC, piping, and plumbing scopes, mentor project teams, and drive operational excellence from preconstruction through turnover, while building strong owner and contractor relationships and managing profitability on multiple large projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mechanical construction PM or operations leadership.
• Proven experience managing large commercial mechanical projects valued at $15 million+.
• Strong financial acumen, leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Willingness to travel nationally as project demands require.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for multiple large-scale mechanical construction projects throughout the U.S.
• Lead Project Managers and project teams to ensure successful execution of HVAC, piping, and plumbing scopes.
• Oversee project financial performance, scheduling, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
• Partner with preconstruction and estimating teams during project planning and handoff.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and implement strategies to maintain profitability and schedule.
• Support business growth through operational leadership and exceptional project delivery.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers and future operational leaders.

Our client is experiencing significant growth and is seeking an executive-level professional capable of overseeing major projects from preconstruction through final turnover.

• Lead Project Managers and project teams to ensure successful execution of HVAC, piping, and plumbing scopes.
• Oversee project financial performance, scheduling, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
• Partner with preconstruction and estimating teams during project planning and handoff.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of mechanical construction project management or operations leadership experience.
• Proven experience managing large commercial mechanical projects valued at $15 million or greater.
• Strong background overseeing HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.
• Experience leading projects in one or more of the following markets:
• Data Centers
• Entertainment & Hospitality
• Advanced Manufacturing
• Government
• Demonstrated success managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Strong financial acumen, leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Willingness to travel nationally as project demands require.
