Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a senior project leader to manage a large project team or multiple teams, coordinating staffing, performance, and client communication on complex HVAC/plumbing design projects.

You will drive project strategy, manage budgets, oversee change orders, mentor staff, and ensure delivery to schedule and profitability in a client-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree in Engineering, or applicable experience.
  • Minimum 12 years' experience, including minimum 5 years' people management experience.
  • Mastery knowledge of applicable systems design, such as HVAC, plumbing, etc., as well as all design engineering aspects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communication with all levels of employees, clients and general contractors.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to lead a large team.
  • Strong public speaking ability.
  • Strong computer skills, including CADD, ERP and Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel.
