Job summary

Southland Industries is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee large project teams and multiple projects, acting as the primary contact for project teams and clients. The role emphasizes staffing, performance reviews, and strategic execution across design engineering domains including HVAC and plumbing.

The candidate will lead client communications, drive revenue opportunities, manage budgets, and mentor a growing team while collaborating with internal departments to ensure project

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree in Engineering or applicable experience.
  • Minimum 12 years experience, including minimum 5 years people management experience.
  • Mastery knowledge of applicable systems design (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) and design engineering aspects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of employees, clients and general contractors.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to lead a large team.
  • Strong public speaking ability.
  • Strong computer skills, including CADD, ERP and Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel.
