Job description

Job Description: As a Project Executive, you will provide high‑level project oversight, lead a project management team, set expectations and objectives, and manage all financial aspects of assigned responsibilities. You will oversee financial planning, talent development, and develop client relationships that lead to future sales.

Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: manage scope, schedule, documentation, pre‑planning, hand‑offs, prefab, job setup, policies, procedures, schedules, and resources.
  • Monitor and oversee project financial performance, and coach or advise PMs and superintendents for monthly reviews.
  • Ensure project safety, conduct site walkthroughs and inspections, and promote a safety‑first culture.
  • Negotiate changes, lead team members through change processes, and attend negotiations as needed.
  • Perform pre‑construction activities and provide overall leadership, mentorship, and development of team members.
  • Collaborate with other leaders to plan workforce needs and drive business goals.
  • Develop and support strategic initiatives for the group, division, or company, and participate in corporate strategic initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, owners, and general contractors; engage in industry associations and networking events.
  • Manage the sales process, attend customer outings and events, and communicate company capabilities for future projects and change orders.
  • Oversee or perform cost estimation for project requirements and scope changes, ensuring coordination with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Track, monitor, and report on financial objectives, including labor productivity, PDCA, risk management, communications, purchasing, billings, and collection issues.
  • Maintain safety compliance, including site safety plans, audits, toolbox talks, pre‑task planning, and proficiency in Industry Safe.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical or Construction Management (preferred).
  • 10+ years of advanced knowledge and proficiency in the building and construction industry.
  • 10+ years of strong understanding of mechanical systems.
  • 10+ years of ability to read and comprehend construction documents.
  • 10+ years of knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles.
  • 10+ years of construction project management experience.
  • 10+ years of business administration and management principles, including company operations, financials, customer relations, business development, project sales strategies, and legal aspects of construction.
