This is a senior leadership seat with direct people authority. The entire project management team reports to you — currently one Senior Project Manager, three Project Managers, three Assistant Project Managers, and one Project Engineer. You'll report to the Director of Operations.
You’ll own a portfolio of projects from concept through closeout and serve as the primary relationship with owners, developers, and design partners. You'll partner closely with pre-construction on bidding, estimating, scheduling, and contract review. And you’ll own the number: budgets, cost control, and profitability across your portfolio.
Projects run up to $40M, with the sweet spot between $5M and $20M — big enough to be interesting, small enough that you're actually in them rather than three layers above.
Just as importantly: you’ll build. This role includes standing up systems and process and scaling the PM bench underneath you. If you want a machine handed to you, this isn't it. If you want to build the machine and be recognized for it, keep reading.
