Job summary

  • Experience with Manhattan townhomes, brownstones, penthouses or luxury apartments.
  • Previous senior leadership roles (Project Executive / VP level).
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Strong budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and client-management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Identify and resolve high-level project risks before they impact cost or schedule.
  • Ensure projects meet quality, craftsmanship, safety and client service standards.
  • Participate in preconstruction, estimating, contract negotiations and turnover.
  • Mentor and develop project management and field staff.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex project and client issues.

The Project Executive will lead Project Management teams to deliver complex, High-end residential interior gut renovations across Manhattan. Projects include luxury townhomes, penthouses, and apartments for ultra-high-net-worth clients. The ideal candidate brings senior-level leadership, exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and a strong understanding of the service and execution standards required to deliver sophisticated residential projects.

Our client is an established, highly regarded general contractor with a strong reputation within New York, New Yorks high-end residential construction market. Their portfolio consists of highly detailed interior renovations for discerning private clients, with projects requiring exceptional craftsmanship, sophisticated project management, and close coordination with architects, designers, consultants, and specialty subcontractors. They operate in a collaborative environment where quality, professionalism, and client experience are equally important to project execution.

Description

As Project Executive, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Provide executive-level oversight of multiple high-end residential construction projects.
  • Lead Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams.

Profile

A successful Project Executive should have:

  • 10+ years of construction experience, preferably with a leading NYC high-end interior general contractor.
  • Proven experience managing high-end residential interior gut renovations.
  • Strong background with Manhattan townhomes, brownstones, penthouses, luxury apartments, or comparable projects.
  • Previous experience as a Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, Director, Vice President, or similar senior leadership position.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects and project teams simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and project financials.
  • Excellent communication and client-management skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
