The successful candidate will lead Project Managers, ensure effective communication among teams and clients, and may need to travel for site visits. Qualifications

• Experience in multifamily rehabilitation or gut renovation projects.
• Commercial occupied space or multifamily ground-up experience also considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple Project Managers across various job sites.
• Serve as a polished, client-facing representative.
• Ensure seamless communication with field teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Operate independently within six months.
• Oversee sensitive tenant relations and navigate complex on-site situations.
• Travel as needed to sites in NJ, NY, and occasionally DC.

Base Pay Range

$205,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr

We are seeking a seasoned Project Executive to lead and oversee multiple large-scale multifamily rehabilitation and renovation projects across the Mid-Atlantic region. This newly created role offers the opportunity to operate independently, drive project success, and serve as a polished, client-facing leader within a rapidly growing general contracting firm.

Our client is a General Contractor specializing in multifamily rehabilitation and renovation projects, with over 20 years of industry experience. Headquartered in Mahwah, NJ, the company has grown from 60 to 160 employees in just four years and operates across NJ, NY, and FL, with projects spanning the Midwest and Mid‑Atlantic. Known for its family roots and strong reputation, the firm partners with housing authorities, property management teams, and building owners to deliver high‑quality, complex renovations.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Lead and manage multiple Project Managers across various job sites.
• Relationship Management: Serve as a polished, client‑facing representative, maintaining strong relationships with building owners, housing authorities, and property managers.
• Communication: Ensure seamless communication with field teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Team Leadership: Operate independently within six months, requiring minimal oversight from leadership.
• Resolution: Oversee sensitive tenant relations and navigate complex on‑site situations.
• Regional Travel: Travel as needed to sites in NJ, NY, and occasionally DC (travel is reimbursed).

Qualifications

• Experience: 10‑15+ years in construction, with prior Senior Project Manager or Project Executive responsibilities.
• Expertise: Multifamily rehabilitation or gut renovation projects (affordable housing experience preferred). Commercial occupied space or multifamily ground‑up experience also considered.
• Skills: Strong leadership, polished client‑facing demeanor, and ability to manage tenant relations.
• Attributes: Excellent tenure, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills.
• Education: Degree preferred but not required.
