• Provide executive oversight of major hyperscale data center electrical construction projects, from preconstruction through installation, commissioning, and final turnover.
• Lead Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leadership teams to deliver against commercial, schedule, safety, and quality objectives.
• Oversee project financials, forecasting, change management, risk mitigation, labor planning, and contractual performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with general contractors, owners, trade partners, and key client stakeholders.
• Drive accountability, operational excellence, and consistent project delivery across multiple project sites.

The Opportunity

Mission Critical Advisory is representing a leading electrical contractor seeking an accomplished Project Executive to oversee the delivery of large-scale, ground-up hyperscale data center projects across the United States.

We're looking for a senior construction leader who understands electrical construction from the ground up. The ideal candidate has progressed through the trade — ideally starting as an electrician before moving into field leadership, project management, and executive-level operations.

That hands-on electrical installation background is the gold standard for this search. We want someone who understands what it takes to build these facilities in the field, not just manage them from a spreadsheet.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of major hyperscale data center electrical construction projects, from preconstruction through installation, commissioning, and final turnover.
• Lead Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leadership teams to deliver against commercial, schedule, safety, and quality objectives.
• Oversee project financials, forecasting, change management, risk mitigation, labor planning, and contractual performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with general contractors, owners, trade partners, and key client stakeholders.
• Drive accountability, operational excellence, and consistent project delivery across multiple project sites.
• Proven Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, or equivalent leadership experience within an electrical contractor.
• Strong technical understanding of electrical installation, distribution systems, and large-scale mission critical infrastructure.
• Demonstrated success managing complex projects, substantial budgets, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationwide and spend extended periods at active project locations.

The Ideal Background

• Started their career as an electrician or electrical apprentice before progressing into supervisory, project management, and executive leadership roles.
• Has hands-on experience with electrical installation on large-scale commercial, industrial, or mission critical projects.
• Has successfully delivered hyperscale data centers from mobilization through commissioning and turnover.
• Brings a strong record of career progression, employment stability, and repeatable project success.
• Can combine practical field knowledge with the commercial and strategic judgment required to oversee major construction programs.
