Metric DCX is seeking a Project Executive to oversee delivery of large-scale hyperscale data center projects across the United States. You will lead project teams, manage client relationships and ensure delivery on budget, schedule, safety and quality.

The role requires comfortable national travel and the ability to manage complex construction programs while maintaining strong commercial and operational leadership across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in commercial construction.
• Led projects valued at $100M+.
• Experience directing multiple project teams.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and hyperscale construction.
• Previous experience with a major General Contractor preferred.

Project Executive – Data Center Construction

Location: United States – National Travel Required

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Executive to oversee the delivery of large-scale hyperscale data center projects across the United States.

This position will take responsibility for multiple projects, leading project teams, managing client relationships and ensuring successful delivery across budget, schedule, safety and quality.

The successful candidate must be comfortable with extensive national travel and managing complex, fast-paced construction programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple large-scale data center construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Lead Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, Superintendents and wider project delivery teams.
• Manage project financials, budgets, forecasting, schedules and overall profitability.
• Maintain relationships with hyperscale clients, developers, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor performance and project execution.
• Work closely with MEP teams to ensure successful delivery of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Identify project risks and implement solutions to maintain delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and contractual requirements.
• Support staffing, resource planning and the development of project leadership teams.

Candidate Requirements

• 15+ years of commercial construction experience, including significant leadership responsibility.
• Proven track record managing projects valued at $100M+.
• Experience leading multiple project teams and overseeing complex construction programs.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, commissioning and hyperscale construction requirements.
• Excellent commercial, contractual and financial management skills.
• Experience working for a major General Contractor is preferred.
• Must be willing to travel nationally based on project requirements.
