Job summary

Evermont Group seeks a Project Executive for Commercial Construction in California. You will oversee major projects from preconstruction to closeout, lead PMs/engineers and field teams, and drive financial performance and client relationships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of GC project management/operations leadership.
• Experience overseeing multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Strong financial acumen with ownership of project P&Ls and forecasting.
• Strong client-facing presence with the ability to win and retain business.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing executive oversight across multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Leading Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field teams to deliver outcomes.
• Managing budgets, forecasts, margins, and risk.
• Building and maintaining owner/consultant/client relationships to generate repeat business.
• Driving schedule, procurement strategy, and operational efficiency on active projects; supporting pursuits.
• Mentoring rising operational talent and strengthening leadership bench.
• Ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction standards.
• Partnering with senior leadership on growth and long-term planning.

A long-established California General Contractor with multiple offices statewide is hiring a Project Executive to lead major projects, mentor operational teams, and help drive the next phase of strategic growth.

• Stable career history with progressive responsibility

• Up to $250,000 base salary (depending on experience)
