Job summary

MKL Careers in Atlanta, GA seeks a senior Project Executive to lead delivery of large-scale data center projects across the Atlanta market. You will oversee client relationships, financial performance, and operational execution with a fast-paced, executive-level team.

Ideal candidates bring extensive data center/mission-critical project leadership, strong Tier-1 GC experience, and deep regional relationships.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of construction leadership experience delivering data center or mission-critical projects.
• Experience with a Tier 1 GC preferred.
• Established relationships in the Atlanta/Southeast data center market with hyperscalers, developers, MEP trades, and commissioning partners.
• Deep understanding of mission-critical systems (power, cooling, redundancy/Tier ratings, commissioning).
• Strong P&L ownership across a portfolio of projects and complex client relationships.
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring project teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to be based in or relocate to Atlanta.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior oversight and leadership across a portfolio of data center construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Serve as the primary executive point of contact for owners, developers, and hyperscale/colocation clients.
• Own project financial performance across the portfolio, including forecasting, margin protection, and risk management.
• Lead and mentor Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Superintendents across assigned projects.
• Oversee complex MEP coordination, commissioning, and mission-critical systems integration.
• Manage accelerated, fast-track schedules typical of hyperscale and colocation builds.
• Partner with business development and preconstruction teams to pursue and win new data center work in the Atlanta/Southeast market.
• Build and maintain relationships with hyperscale clients, developers, utility partners, and commissioning subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with client-specific quality, safety, and security protocols.
• Represent the company in client presentations, industry events, and market-facing engagements.
• Drive continuous improvement in data center delivery processes, standards, and best practices across the region.
