Job Posting: Event Coordinator (Contract, June–July)

Date Posted: May 19, 2025

Location: Remote (occasional travel may be required)

Commitment: 20–30 hours per week

Contract Duration: June 2nd - July 21st, 2025

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Event Coordinator to support a high-profile corporate training and recognition program running through late July. This contract position is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, communicates clearly, and can manage competing priorities with confidence and grace.

Working closely with our internal team, you’ll help bring together multiple event components—from scheduling and vendor coordination to tracking timelines and ensuring all deliverables are executed flawlessly. This is a part-time, remote role with flexible hours, best suited to someone who is highly organized and self-motivated.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate logistics for corporate events and training activities, including scheduling sessions, managing timelines, and tracking key deliverables
  2. Liaise with vendors, facilitators, and internal team members to ensure event readiness
  3. Monitor task lists and documentation to ensure deadlines are met and event goals are aligned
  4. Assist with event communication including participant emails, reminders, and pre-event coordination
  5. Support in compiling event data, managing checklists, and updating project tracking systems (e.g., Asana, Excel)
  6. Troubleshoot challenges in real time, problem-solving with speed and professionalism
  7. Optional: support in-person components if availability and location align (minimal travel)

Who You Are:

You are a detail-obsessed, deadline-driven coordinator who loves to make things run smoothly behind the scenes. You’re someone who thrives when working independently, communicates well, and handles logistics like a pro.

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience in event coordination, logistics, or program support (corporate experience a plus)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Familiarity with project management tools like Asana (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and maintain high standards in a remote setting
  • Calm under pressure and skilled at navigating ambiguity or last-minute shifts
  • Location: Fully remote with access to reliable internet and a quiet workspace
  • Compensation: Based on experience ($35–$45/hour recommended)
  • Opportunity for Future Work: This is a project-based contract role, but strong performance may lead to opportunities for future projects or ongoing collaboration.

To Apply:

Please submit your resume and a brief note highlighting relevant event coordination or logistics experience. Qualified applicants will participate in a brief two-step interview process, including a task-based scenario to demonstrate relevant skills.

Equal Opportunity Employer:

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and contractors.
