Job summary

Med-National Staffing Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Project Estimator & Inside Sales Specialist in Detroit, MI. This onsite role combines estimating with customer-focused sales support to translate project plans into accurate quotations and solutions.

You will interpret drawings, perform material takeoffs, and coordinate with engineering, production, and operations to ensure on-time delivery and pricing accuracy. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in estimating, inside sales, project coordination, or customer support within manufacturing or architectural products.
• Experience interpreting architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and technical documents.
• Experience performing material takeoffs.
• Strong quotation preparation and estimating skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely quotations for contractors, distributors, customers, and sales partners.
• Review drawings, bid packages, specifications, and construction documents.
• Perform material takeoffs and calculate project material requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production and Operations for feasibility, pricing, and lead times.
• Maintain quote records, revisions, and documentation in CRM and ERP systems.
• Support outside sales with estimating, project coordination, and customer communication.
• Track quotation activity and move opportunities through the sales process.
• Communicate project updates, lead times, and order status to customers and teams.
