Job summary

AmeriTex is seeking an estimates professional in Seguin, TX, to provide project, product, and service estimates, obtain quotes, and support the sales team with proposals.

You will handle material takeoffs at project start and throughout, assist bids, and coordinate with procurement, dispatch, manufacturing, and customer site leaders to keep projects on budget and schedule.

This role emphasizes customer service, accurate budgeting, and clear internal reporting to track progress and timelines.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering, engineering management or related field, or an Associate degree with 5 years of experience in business, construction or manufacturing environments.
• 2-4 years of experience in a construction environment and performing a project management role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit quotations and proposals to customers.
• Prepare material take-offs at project start and maintain upkeep throughout.
• Assist with bids for new contracts and support procurement with buyers.
• Operate with a strong orientation toward customer service while managing stakeholder expectations.
• Serve as liaison between dispatch, manufacturing, sales, and customer site leaders.
• Prepare internal reports to illustrate job progress and timelines.
• Escalate issues between stakeholder groups to provide seamless service.
• Work with project coordination team to prioritize customer expectations.
• Act as a champion for AmeriTex products.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

This role is responsible for providing estimates for projects, products, and services to the customer. Obtains quotes and estimates from vendors, contractors and supports the sales team with proposals, tracking costs, and calculating the final budgets for projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for preparing and submitting quotations and proposals to our customers.
• Prepares and handles material take off at the beginning of projects and maintains upkeep throughout the duration of the project.
• Assists with bids for new contracts and supports the procurement activities with the buyers.
• Operates with a strong orientation towards customer service while managing internal and external stakeholder expectations

EDUCATION
