Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Senior Construction Estimator to join our CapEX Team in Pasadena, TX. The Senior Construction Estimator is responsible for preparing cost estimates and proposals by analyzing drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.

The role requires 10+ years of estimating experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate the bid lifecycle across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Estimating.
• Technical training and/or industrial construction estimating experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Google Workspace.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the company Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy.
• Comply with company and client job site safety requirements.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Work the entire life cycle of a bid, from invitation to proposal submission.
• Coordinate total estimating effort relevant to a bid/project.
• Interpret specifications and drawings to determine scope of work.
• Prepare estimates by performing quantity takeoffs from drawings or bid packages.
• Prepare bid packages for vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Assist in schedule preparation and analysis, risk analysis, and management review.
• Interface with owner, A/E, and other contractors to provide cost data.
• Assist the project team on awarded contracts and change orders.
