The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of commercial construction experience and a degree in Construction Management or Engineering. Responsibilities include computing costs and working with the estimating team to ensure accurate bids. This position requires strong communication skills and proficiency in relevant software tools to support various construction projects.

Qualifications

• Systematic approach to estimating and preparing bids for commercial construction projects.
• Ability to visit project sites and conduct pre-bid meetings.
• Experience with providing accurate take-off and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparation of commercial project proposals and bids.
• Compute labor, material, and time costs by analyzing proposals and specifications.
• Work with estimating team to create accurate estimates and pricing.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills

Strong prioritization and organizational skills

Strong working knowledge of estimating software like Cost‑OS, OST and Planswift

Working knowledge of programs such as Bluebeam, Excel, and Word

Well‑rounded base of knowledge in construction disciplines

Civil estimating experience

3+ years previous commercial construction experience
