You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure estimates are competitive, accurate, and aligned with manufacturing capabilities while supporting profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing customer orders, blueprints, drawings, and specifications to develop cost estimates.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and determine manufacturing feasibility.
• Experience partnering with Sales, Engineering, and Operations on estimating and bid processes.

Responsibilities

• Review customer orders, blueprints, drawings, specifications, and project requirements to produce cost estimates.
• Develop material takeoffs and quantity calculations for raw materials, labor, and equipment.
• Create comprehensive project cost models and pricing recommendations.
• Interpret drawings and specifications, identify missing information or scope gaps prior to bid submission.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Production, Planning, Engineering, and Project Management to validate labor standards and assumptions.
• Maintain estimating databases and contribute to post-project reviews to compare estimates with actual costs.
