The ideal candidate has an associate degree and 5+ years of construction estimating experience, with proficiency in BlueBeam, Sage Estimating, and Excel. Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 plus comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Manage quantity takeoffs, estimation, GMP development, and cost analysis.
• Review project documents, develop budgets and pricing; evaluate subcontractor/supplier proposals.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and cost impacts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project interviews.
• Perform constructability reviews, value engineering, and cost-saving analyses.

Zachary Piper Solutions is hiring a Project Estimator to support pricing for construction projects for retail, hospital, and municipality customers on-site in Greensboro, NC.

Responsibilities of the Project Estimator:

• Manage quantity takeoffs, estimation, GMP development, and cost analysis
• Review project documents, develop budgets, pricing, evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals during preconstruction process
• Identify potential project risks, opportunities, and cost impacts with subcontractors and suppliers
• Participate in pre-bod meetings, site visits, and project interviews
• Perform constructability reviews, value engineering analyses, and cost-saving evaluations.

Qualifications of the Project Estimator:

• Associates Degree in a relevant field
• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating
• Experience with BluBeam, Sage, Excel, or similar estimating system
• Strong Cost Analysis Experience
• Must be able to pass a government background check

Compensation of the Project Estimator:

• Salary Range: 80k-100k
