Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Project Estimator to support pricing for construction projects across retail, hospital, and municipal sectors. This on-site role is based in Greensboro, NC.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree and 5+ years of construction estimating experience, with proficiency in BlueBeam, Sage Estimating, and Excel. Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a relevant field required.
• 5+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Experience with estimating software (BlueBeam, Sage) and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage quantity takeoffs, estimation, GMP development, and cost analysis.
• Review project documents, develop budgets and pricing; evaluate subcontractor/supplier proposals.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and cost impacts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project interviews.
• Perform constructability reviews, value engineering, and cost-saving analyses.
