Job summary

Standard Textile is seeking a Project Estimator (Finance) to calculate project costs for the Interiors Group from blueprints and specifications. You will prepare takeoffs, obtain vendor quotes, and manage project files for internal and external customers.

The role requires 1-3 years estimating experience, an associate degree or equivalent, and intermediate MS Excel. A hybrid schedule includes in-office work on Tuesdays through Thursdays, with additional on-site days during training.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years estimating experience.
• Intermediate MS Excel knowledge.

Project Estimator will calculate cost of projects based on blueprints and/or specifications for our Interiors Group.

Responsibilities Include:

• Accurately estimate cost of projects using Excel, Bluebeam Revu, Procore or other provided forms for internal and external customers on a timely basis
• Prepare takeoffs from blueprints or specifications to determine quantities and treatments required for projects
• Obtain vendor quotes and material costs from internal or external suppliers
• Prepare project files and serve as a resource to internal and/or external customers

Qualifications Include:

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience; bachelor's degree preferred
• 1-3 years estimating experience
• Intermediate MS Excel knowledge
• The hybrid schedule for this role includes in-office work on Tuesdays - Thursdays, and additional onsite days may be required during the training period. Associates are expected to be in the office during this time.
