Job summary

Ohio Gratings, Inc. in Canton, OH is seeking a Project Sales Estimator to translate complex drawings into clear project scopes and develop accurate cost estimates.

This role blends technical drafting with sales insight, requiring 3–5 years in drafting and estimating, 1–3 years in sales, and proficiency with BlueBeam, AutoCAD, ERP, and Microsoft Office.

The estimator will collaborate across teams, track quotes, and ensure all estimates align with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in drafting and estimating.
• A minimum of 1-3 years' sales experience preferred.
• Experience with BlueBeam is highly preferred.
• Experience with structural steel drafting experience is beneficial.
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office products (including Excel, Outlook, and Word), AutoCAD, and ERP Systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.

EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, AND PROFICIENCIES: High school diploma or equivalent required. A bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in drafting and estimating. A minimum of 1-3 years' sales experience preferred. Experience with BlueBeam is highly preferred. Experience with structural steel preferred and structural steel drafting experience is beneficial. Proficient skills in Microsoft Office products (including Excel, Outlook, and Word), AutoCAD, and ERP Systems. Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
