Job summary

Langan International, LLC is seeking a Project Environmental Engineer, Scientist, Geologist / Project Manager in Philadelphia, PA. The role focuses on managing environmental investigation and remediation projects, delivering technically excellent services, and supervising staff.

You will prepare proposals, reports, and analyses and interact with clients across exciting projects. The position offers growth in project and staff management, opportunities to engage with clients, and work on both

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• LEED AP or PE certification.
• 6+ years of related work experience.
• Proficient in environmental due diligence.
• Knowledge of quantitative/technical analyses and software.
• Hazwoper training and annual re-certification.
• Regulatory requirements knowledge.
• Excellent public speaking and written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical judgment.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and clients.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental investigation and remediation projects.
• Perform complex analyses for specific portions of broader engineering and environmental projects.
• Supervise field activities and ensure correct interpretations of findings.
• Manage and deliver on multiple projects and tasks within budgets, schedules, and deadlines.
• Write, edit, and organize draft proposals and reports.
• Coordinate business development and client meetings; pursue new work.
• Oversee junior staff; coach and mentor Environmental projects staff.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and project personnel.
• Perform other duties as requested.
