Job summary

TotalEnergies Group in the United States seeks an experienced mechanical engineer to lead the design, development and qualification of products and technologies, coordinating with customers and internal engineering personnel to report progress.

This role requires managing programs to meet cost, schedule and performance targets, providing technical guidance on materials and design of experiments, and collaborating across design, testing, production and quality teams.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Applied Mechanics or Engineering Sciences.
• 2–6 years mechanical engineering experience with emphasis on structures in product development.
• Familiarity with materials, tolerancing, dynamics, stress, fatigue and vibration analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and qualification of products and technologies.
• Coordinate product development to meet customer requirements and lead times.
• Maintain customer contact and present progress to engineers.
• Provide guidance on materials and design of experiments to develop products.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and schedules to align with sales plan.
• Travel regularly (North America, Europe, Asia, South America) as required.
• Promote HSE compliance and report program status to management.
