Job summary

Skanska USA is seeking a dynamic Project Engineering Intern to start a career with a company that builds meaningful projects. This internship offers exposure to engineering, field engineering, cost, safety, estimating, and finance functions under supervision.

You will assist the Project Manager and Superintendent on assigned projects, gain hands-on experience, and learn how Skanska coordinates activities across teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic phases of construction projects.
• Knowledge of mathematics functions (geometry, basic algebra).
• Computer skills (MS Office, HCSS, CGC, etc).
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, subcontractors, and other third parties.
• Ability to present information clearly in written and verbal form.
• Working towards a bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering, Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager and Superintendent on assigned projects.
• Work under mentorship and perform routine daily activities.
• Gather and distribute information to project team.
• Opportunities to coordinate project activities under supervision.
