Job summary

Skanska is seeking a dynamic Project Engineering Intern in the United States. The role provides mentorship from Project Manager and Superintendent and exposure to engineering, field, cost, safety, estimating, and accounting on active projects.

You will perform routine tasks, gather information, and coordinate project activities, learning how information flows across teams and sites. This internship offers practical experience shaping communities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic phases of construction projects.
• Knowledge of mathematics functions (geometry, basic algebra).
• Computer skills (MS Office, HCSS, CGC, etc).
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, subcontractors, and others.
• Ability to present information clearly in writing and orally.
• Working towards a bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support Project Manager and Superintendent on assigned projects.
• Gather and distribute information on daily activities.
• Coordinate project activities under supervision.
• Perform accounting activities with assistance.
• Assist with estimating functions as requested.
