Job summary

Skanska Group is seeking a dynamic Project/Field Engineering Intern to support Project Managers and Superintendents on active U.S. projects. The role includes mentorship and hands-on exposure to construction engineering across mechanical and civil disciplines.

You will assist with information gathering, coordination of activities, and basic estimating or accounting tasks as directed. Pursuing a bachelor’s in Construction Management or Engineering will provide real-world insight into planning,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with project software (HCSS, CGC) preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; able to interact with customers, subcontractors, and third parties.
• Ability to present information clearly in writing and verbally.
• Applicants must be eligible to work without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support Project Manager and Superintendent on assigned projects.
• Gather and distribute information; perform routine daily activities under supervision.
• Coordinate project activities with supervision, and assist with estimating and accounting as requested.
• Work on multiple engineering disciplines including mechanical or civil, safety, and cost engineering tasks.
