Job summary

Skanska is seeking a dynamic Project Engineering Intern in the United States. This program offers mentorship while supporting Project Managers and Supervisors on ongoing projects, with opportunities to gain experience across engineering disciplines and back-office tasks.

You will work under supervision, learn project coordination, and contribute to safety and quality. This internship emphasizes development and teamwork within Skanska's inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field or equivalent through experience.
• Strong math skills including geometry and algebra.
• Proficient with MS Office; familiarity with HCSS, CGC is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, subcontractors and others.
• Ability to present information clearly in written and verbal form.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager and Superintendent on assigned projects under mentorship.
• Support daily project activities and information distribution.
• Coordinate project activities with supervision from Project/Operations Manager.
• Gain exposure to estimating, accounting, and equipment/maintenance tasks as assigned.
