Job summary

RTX in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico is offering a hybrid internship/co-op position for Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering students. The program runs January to June, with on-site requirements in Puerto Rico and no relocation assistance. A Monday-Friday cadence applies, with learning across CFD tooling and engine component analysis, and presentation of technical results.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, enrolled in an engineering degree, and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.

• English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.

Immerse yourself in a Monday-Friday Co-Op session, that will run from January to June (it is expected students will take this time off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity). This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.

What You Will Learn:

• Use of commercial and in-house tools to perform different types of analysis (e.g. CFD) for the design or evaluation of some of our engine components.
• Understand some of the manufacturing processes used in the making of our engine components and the importance of quality compliance from an Aerodynamics perspective.
• Dive into our Knowledge Management System and how it applies to the development of our products.
• Prepare and present technical presentations.
