Responsibilities include submittal coordination, drafting work plans, analyzing surveys and drawings, controlling costs, and tracking changes while ensuring design compliance and safety standards across projects within the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical/plant/electrical industries
• Ability to meet fast-paced, changing schedules and priorities
• Keen awareness of industry recommended practices
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification required
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Valid driver’s license
• Local projects within 1-2 hours of the main office
• Industrial electrical construction experience is a plus
• Site pipe and site civil experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Review, coordinate, submit, and track all project submittals
• Write construction-work plans, including form/pour drawings, major pipe/equipment/conduit layouts
• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, and other mechanical data to plan projects
• Manage project cost and performance with field personnel to track, control, and deliver results
• Generate job cost reports for all projects involved
• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specs and safety standards
• Track and submit claims and changes in scope
