Job summary

Wood Rodgers is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Flood & Drainage team in Oakland. This role suits an engineer with 5–8 years in water resources, focused on hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, flood risk reduction, and resilient infrastructure development for public agencies across California.

You will work with senior engineers to perform studies, develop models in GIS, analyze stormwater systems, and prepare reports and client presentations, contributing to climate resilience and CIP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• California PE license preferred or eligible.
• 5+ years of water resources experience in hydrology/hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models for flood/drainage projects.
• Lead studies for stormwater systems, flood control facilities, and CIP planning.
• Prepare technical memos, reports, and client presentations.
• Coordinate with agencies and stakeholders across California.
