JE Dunn Construction Company is hiring a Project Engineer 1 to support construction projects across Texas and Oklahoma. The role focuses on on-site execution, safety compliance, and coordination with project teams to manage materials, labor and schedules.

The position emphasizes learning the construction process, applying company best practices, and developing skills in QA/QC, documentation, and lean methods to deliver projects successfully.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participates in QA/QC planning to ensure quality for tasks.
• Involves estimating and change management processes with quantity take-off.
• Works on site with project team to monitor crew size, hours, materials and equipment.
• Prepares and disseminates required documentation and reports.
• Posts drawings and specifications with most recent information.
• Supports scheduling with progress reports and manpower tracking.
• Assists with project closeout and handover documentation.
• Applies Lean practices and self-perform opportunities.
